Here are a few photos I took this weekend of my newly planted rain lilies. Believe it or not, I only potted these up about 2-3 weeks ago in some azalea clay pots. Azalea pots are shorter in height and wider than a standard clay pot. I like using this type of pot for bulbs. It also works very well for Amaryllis bulbs too.
I mixed the potting soil with some bone meal and watered. Beautiful apricot and pink flowers.
The apricot is very noticable just when the flower first starts to open. It then blushes to a lovely shade of pink.
If you missed getting these at Olive Barn when we had them on sale, you can try again next season. They are truly beautiful and so easy to grow.
